3 Reasons Why You Should Be Promoting Yourself Via Facebook

Quitting Facebook is Stupid! There are many different ways you can promote yourself and your company in the current business environment we are all working with.

Depending on what business you are in and who you serve, will dictate where you promote and what your message will be. With multiple places you can choose to promote yourself and your company, you want to make sure that no matter what, you are promoting yourself via Facebook. Here are three reasons why…

1) A Massive Audience

Facebook is the largest social media website in the world where thousands of new people join every single day. The website is close to hitting one billion users, and doesn’t look like it is planning to slow down anytime soon.

With the millions of people to reach via this social network, you would be stupid to overlook this platform when promoting yourself or your business.

With the multiple ways you can position yourself within the site, and with the added search engine optimization value for each one of your status update posts, you will be well on your way to attracting your target customers using this amazing platform.

If you are up for it, you can even decide to spend money advertising your message to targeted groups. With Facebook advertising, it makes it easy to target the right message to the right crowd at the right time!

2) The Viral Spin

Within the Facebook ecosystem, there are many different features you can use for free that allow you to attract your audience, and then leverage them in a viral way to reach more potential customers within the Facebook website!

For example, when you have a Facebook page for your company and you share a blog post on the page, your fans who have liked your page are able to click the article to read, and are able to also easily share it with their friends in their newsfeed.

Once your fan shares it in their newsfeed, their friends who see the article have the same opportunity to re-share the article into their newsfeeds…and on and on and on. This is just one example of the power Facebook can have on directly impacting the traffic generated to your website where your offers can be strategically positioned and placed.

This highly viral Internet environment, really helps you easily get access to customers and prospects who will stay loyal to you, and help you make more money at the same time!

3) Unlimited Leverage

Because Facebook is always adding new people to the site every single day, this allows you to create a word of mouth platform for you and your company that continually grows on autopilot. With a few strategic actions taken every single day, you will be able to reach thousands of your customers with a simple click of a button.

Back in the day the only way to do this was via an e-mail list, but with the advent of Facebook and other social media websites it has now become commonplace for company’s and brands to easily communicate with their customers, and add value to the world at large!

Don’t miss out on using this amazing platform to promote yourself and grow your business!

I could not agree more. A facebook fanpage is a wonderful place to showcase products, services, and simply interact with people who might actually want to see what your company is up to.

All businesses should have a Facebook page even if they don’t like Facebook. I tell others that people expect it and it’s a way to connect and network without making introductions like Linkedin. Many are concerned about privacy issues and that boils down to common sense of not posting what you don’t want people to see.

Whatever you post, expect it will be recorded and be to seen by anyone in the world. Even if you have a holding page with contact information and an outline of your business it is better than not having a social media presence.
