  • I didn’t realize you could do this through Facebook. That’s a really nice feature. For all the benefits social media gives us, I also find that it makes life harder if you’re having problems with a particular person. If all of your friends are linked to that person it’s difficult to avoid them while staying in touch with everybody else. I’ve ended…[Read more]

  • It’s a cool list, but could do with a wider variety for all the different types whether your friends are glamorous or rebellious… etc… I’m not so keen on receiving make-up myself unless they’re familiar with the style and colours I like. Admittedly, all of my friends are male so what do I know? The only women I buy gifts for are my sister and…[Read more]

It’s a fun list and I love the point about dog-piles. In all seriousness though, It’s challenging to find the right people that treat you with the respect you deserve. Despite making such lists, I reckon that most of us put up with imperfections in our friendships because we’re afraid of losing that companionship. I will add that if you do have…[Read more]

Does anyone here play table top role playing games? I know, this sounds like a really nerdy question and I think the genre has gotten an unfair reputation in the past. Does anybody else here find a lack of support to be the biggest issue in living a healthy lifestyle? I’ve informed everybody that I want to eat more healthily, but I don’t feel like they’re helping me to stay on track. Friends or co-workers will bring treats along with them and I feel guilty if I don’t accept. When we’re out and about frien…[Read more]

    • I think you should start convincing yourself that you don’t like unhealthy food and also tell others that you don’t like what they are offering. If they know that you don’t like something they will stop pushing, but if they know you do then they will try to convince you to eat.
My hubby is also the type of person who doesn’t believe in healthy…[Read more]

    • Lack of support can be a huge issue. It’s kind of like trying to quite smoking in a house full of smokers. They light up and automatically your body craves that bad habit. My biggest thing is don’t buy the food, don’t even go down the junk food aisle. Learning to say “no thank you” is a big step to someone whose prone to accepting treats offered.…[Read more]

I use both Netflix and Amazon Prime. I love streaming videos as it’s so convenient and I have a whole library to make a selection from. Both services have a lot of choice. I use Netflix more for films, and Prime for series. I take risks and try new things that I otherwise wouldn’t have paid for. I usually browse to see what catches my attention.…[Read more]
