  • Wow, maybe I run the risk of showing my age but NO, I don’t agree with it at all. I see it perpetuating a serious problem in the future where we have all these “educated” people who have no Functional Skills to speak of. Actually, scrap that; it’s late as we already have many people in that position! I can sort of see it working as a…[Read more]

I couldn’t have put it better myself Martisa, I agree with you on all you said. I use Obagi C Vitamin C serum and love it. There’s yet another one I’ve used in the past that I actually prefer but couldn’t afford as it’s very luxurious and pricey **sigh**. The name escapes me, but if I remember it, I’ll let you know….It’s got rave reviews too.…[Read more]

I know, my Vitamin C serum is my beauty holygrail LOL But as far as sunscreen is concerned, it’s done wonders for my skin actually. When I discovered natural sunscreen and the hazards of chemical sunscreen, my skin progressively got better and better. I suppose these things work differently for different people. Regarding the ongoing debate, I…[Read more]

    • Yeah that’s true. I forgot about natural sunscreens. I think I use to use DDF it was really good, but I don’t think they make the low chemical one anymore. Obagi C serum that is a really good one. It costs a lot. What brand sunscreen do you use?

Wow Muthoni, he was very cruel! You didn’t do anything wrong, so no need to beat yourself up. But I totally agree with you, married men who seek affairs will say anything to have their cake and eat it. The same thing goes for people in relationships; personally I wouldn’t go there to protect my heart!

I find if I start a diet, I obsess about what I cannot eat! So I really respect and envy people who can follow them religiously. What works for me is making lifestyle changes like eating everything in moderation, cutting back on junk, avoiding eating in between meals, portion control etc 🙂

    • You obsess over what you can’t eat because there is chemicals in those foods to draw you back. The chemicals that are put in food are so bad for you. Just take a look at aspartame. This one was declined by the fda for a long time, from like 1968-80 something.. Finally they passed it. It’s the feces from a lab created bacteria. Yuk, causes a slew…[Read more]

I wouldn’t judge anyone, but before I even answer the question you posed; I personally wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing I run the risk of breaking up a family. I would never date someone in a relationship with someone else let alone a married man. I wouldn’t want it done to me, so why do it to someone else? Now to address your question,…[Read more]

I refuse to be without my zinc sunscreen and Vitamin C serum. Even on cloudy days, I have to have sunscreen. People actually laugh at me for religiously applying sunscreen, but I’m one of those darker skinned people who burn and worse still, develop uneven skin tone if I expose my skin to UV rays without protection.- and yes, experts maintain even…[Read more]

    • vitamin c is one of the best topical serums you can put on the face. I don’t blame you with that one. There is actually a debate about sunscreen though. I stopped using it several years ago and my skin actually started looking better.

    • You can’t go wrong with sunscreen & vitamin C! Everyone should use sunscreen daily, no matter what the weather is! It protects our skin from premature aging, age spots, sunburn, & skin cancer! We should use 70 plus spf in the summer and 30 plus in the winter. Most people don’t use enough. Kiss My Face Sun Factor Face Factor is a good quality…[Read more]

If I could, I’d definitely stick to natural products ONLY. But they’re not always cheap 🙁 I do stick to natural sunscreen, though….loaded full of zinc. Ever since I started using it as opposed to chemical sunscreen, I’ve seen a marked improvement in the quality of my skin. I also swear by coconut oil, which is such a neat little multi tasker. I…[Read more]
